Behavioral Health Services

Behavioral Health services through NEWESD 101 provides a network of support for schools and increases access to care for students. Rather than serving as a direct service provider, the ESD Behavioral Health Coordinator's role is to engage in regional K–12 and healthcare partnerships through relationships and collaboration activities that will ultimately increase access to care. Through dedicated Behavioral Health services, Washington’s ESDs are playing a critical role in navigating complex systems and access to care for youth.
