Participants will attend virtually from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 2, 2021.
Learn suicide prevention strategies, such as increasing student knowledge about depression, reducing the stigma of mental illness, utilizing gatekeeper education to engage school staff and parents, and supporting student mental health through community-based partnerships.
Training will be led by NEWESD 101 coordinators, Keara Peltram (Behavioral Health) and Alise Mnati (Threat Assessment).
