Scarlett and Browning were recognized during the May 20th virtual celebration of OSPI and the Washington Art Education Association's (WAEA) 2021 Superintendent's High School Art Show.
Scarlett received the WASA selection for the piece, "Contours of Flathead." Browning's entry, "Chronophobia" earned honorable mention. Both qualified for the state competition after winning first-place awards in NEWESD 101's Regional High School Art Show held in March.
In addition to a first-place award, Scarlett's "Contours of Flathead" was named a Judge's Choice, Avista and Central Washington University Scholarship award winner during the regional competition.
