The Spokane-based Hagan Foundation recently donated $12,000 to Bite 2 Go, a program that provides weekend food to local students in need and gave $24,000 to 2nd Harvest and Salvation Army food banks of Spokane.
Additionally, the foundation awarded approximately $424,582 in Opportunity Grant funding this past December to more than 20 community organizations and regional school districts.
The Hagan Foundation was established in 1997 by Cornelius E. Hagan, Jr., a retired physician committed to education and youth.
