The Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA) presented Dr. Sam Artzis with a state Service to WASA award on June 28. Nominated by NEWESD 101 Superintendent Michael Dunn, Ed.D., Dr. Artzis was recognized for his extraordinary contributions to education, namely providing COVID-19 knowledge and resources to school districts in the northeast Washington region.
