NEWESD 101 West Spokane Wellness Partnership Community Coalition Coordinator, Sarah McNew, was recently honored with a Mentor of the Year Award from Partners in Campus & Community Engagement (PICCE) for her dedication to service-learning partnerships throughout Spokane.
A regional cooperative of educational institutions, community partners, and other stakeholders, PICCE is committed to the development and promotion of service-learning. It is comprised of five major area higher educational institutions including Community Colleges of Spokane, Whitworth, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga and Washington State universities.
