A third mural has now been installed at the Spokane County Juvenile Detention Center by students participating in NEWESD 101's Juvenile Detention School Services' art therapy project. 

For the past couple years, the team has been partnering with regional artists to offer court-involved youth an opportunity to build community and express themselves in positive and restorative ways through art.

With the help of Gonzaga University art instructor, Bri Covert, the students created a Riverfront Park/hoop-themed mural to brighten the outdoor basketball court walls.
